This is how the seating for the NZ Government used to look when Labour had the Rule & at the moment there are 123 seats in Government. If Bass Party changes the current system in place to one of representation of an area of NZ, then there will only be 50 seats: the Chatham Island seat, the Stewart Island Seat, the Matamata seat, and so on. This means that an equally sized state will be formed based on the number of people living in each region, 50 regions represented in the Government by one person elected by the people in that region, and each person campaigning for that state must have lived in that state for more than 3 years as well as being a New Zealander born in NZ with at least one parent born in NZ.

BASS would make it look like this, and cap all representative wages at one that would not increase ever, and we would see this beginning at $400,000. a year with no extra benefits, and every rep must pay their own way when it comes to secretarial staff, accommodation, and transport nationwide, to and from their state. Transport will be covered for standard traveling costs, such as driving or flying domestically, at a return percentage for receipts claimed based on the distance, the same as what the current system offers ACC Travel. We at BASS do not think that reps should get a free ride all the way, as the current politicians do.

The Executive Office of the President consists of 21 people, including the President, Vice President, and so on. Their wages will be capped at the same amount, with the vice president being capped at a higher rate of $500,000 per year and the President at $750,000. As these amounts seem higher than the current political system, in fact, the opposite is true, as this system means that there would only be 71 members of the Government at any given time. Currently, the NZ Government system costs in wages $42,590,000. yearly, with the BAS System of Government, it will cost $28,850,000, which is a saving of tax money of $13,740,000.
